Photo Studio in Bærum – Perfect for Newborn and Family Portraits

Welcome to my photography studio in Eiksmarka, Bærum, just outside Oslo. The studio is designed for newborn, baby, and family photography, offering a calm and comfortable atmosphere where you can feel safe and well taken care of.

Everything has been arranged in advance so that you can enjoy a simple, stress-free experience. I have blankets, equipment, and carefully selected details ready to go, so you can focus entirely on your baby and your time together.

Newborn photos are typically taken within the first 14 days, when the baby is still sleeping a lot and is easy to photograph. At the same time, the most important thing is always that both the baby and the parents are comfortable, so the photo session is conducted at a relaxed pace to suit their needs.

Safe newborn photography with a focus on safety and comfort

When choosing a newborn photographer, trust and experience are among the most important factors. With my experience in newborn photography, I create a calm and comfortable experience where the baby’s needs always come first.

At my studio in Eiksmarka, Bærum, I photograph newborns in natural and comfortable poses, focusing on comfort, closeness, and timeless photos that you’ll cherish for years to come.

Everything You Want to Know

  • A newborn photo shoot usually lasts 3-4 hours. This gives us plenty of time to feed, comfort, and calm the baby so that we can capture the most beautiful and natural moments.

  • The best time for newborn photography is within the first two weeks after birth. During this period, babies sleep more, and it is easier to achieve the classic newborn poses. After two weeks, babies can become more alert, and challenges such as colic and skin changes can arise.

    The most important thing, however, is that both mother and baby feel good. I have also had wonderful photo shoots with babies up to four weeks old.

  • I recommend coming to my home studio in Eiksmarka, which is specially designed for newborn photography. The studio is heated to a comfortable 26°C for the baby's comfort, and I have professional equipment and the right lighting to ensure the highest quality photos.

  • I have all the necessary equipment and a range of props for the photo shoot. However, it would be nice if you could bring along some personal items of sentimental value, such as children's clothes, blankets or toys, which can be used in the photos.

    Here are a few things to keep in mind:

    • Extra change of clothes: For both parents and siblings, in case of accidents (diapers are not used during the photo shoot).

    • Pacifier: If you use a pacifier, it can be useful for calming your baby.

    • Formula: Bring extra bottles if you use formula.

    • Favorite toys or books: For older siblings, so they can stay entertained during the photo shoot.

  • Of course! I always take photos of the whole family and siblings. These photos become beautiful memories for life. If siblings get impatient, they can take a break and play in the garden while we continue with the newborn photography.

  • Choose comfortable clothing that is suitable for the temperature in the studio (26°C). For family photos, we recommend neutral colors and simple tones, as these give a timeless look. Avoid logos, bold patterns, and anything that might distract attention away from the baby.

  • I offer safe and professional newborn photography in Oslo and Viken, with a focus on the baby's safety and the family's comfort. Let's work together to create timeless images that will preserve the memories of this special time forever.
