Photographing the First Year

When babies are about 3-4 months, they lie on the stomach and keeping their head up. Around 6 months they sit by themselves and are very proud of it. Around the 1 year mark, babies can often stand and walk by themselves and are very curious.

We can celebrate the child's first birthday with a Cake Smash. For this occasion, I decorate the studio with birthday decorations and the child gets his first birthday cake all to himself.

includes session fee 1200 NOK + 5 digital files (each file is 800 NOK)

+ HOW LONG DOES BABY PHOTOGRAPHY TAKE?

Baby photography takes 1-2 hours, then it is also time for the baby to eat and be comforted if needed.

+ WHEN IS IT BEST TO HAVE BABY PHOTOGRAPHY?

There are three milestones in baby’s development which are great to photograph:

3-5 months, when the baby can lie on the stomach and keep the head up for a longer time than a few seconds.
6-9 months, when the baby can sit
1 year old, then the baby is turning one and we can celebrate with occasion with a photoshoot and a “cake smash”😊

+ WHERE CAN WE TAKE BABY PHOTOS?

We can take pictures outside (when it's warm) or in my studio. It is possible to combine outside / inside on the same photography session. When I photograph the baby in the studio, I set the temperature to 24-25 ° C for the baby's comfort.

+ WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING WITH US?

I have everything you need for baby photography and many props you can choose from. If you have any items that have value for you (baby clothes, blanket, toys etc) that you want to use during photography, feel free to bring them.

Pack an extra change of clothes (for you and the children) in case there are small accidents since we do not use diapers during some photos.

Bring a pacifier - Only if you use one, as it can be very useful during photography.

If you are using infant formula, bring extra bottles.

+ CAN WE TAKE FAMILY/SIBLING PHOTOS?

Of course! I always take family photos. If you have other children, bring them, it's nice to have sibling photos. If the children are tired they can go out in the garden to play a bit :)

+ WE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A CAKE SMASH, WILL YOU ORGANISE A CAKE FOR US?

No, I am afraid not, you need to bring a cake with you.
